1. Geocell a kind of prefabricate, expanded, three dimensional reinforcement cellular confinement system to improve the base condition.
2. Geocell is one three-dimensional honeycombed cellular structures that form a confinement system when infilled with compacted soil. It is a three-dimensional mesh structure formed by high-strength welding of reinforced HDPE sheet material.
3. Generally made by ultrasonic needle welding. Due to engineering needs, some holes are drilled in the diaphragm.
It is widely used in construction for erosion control, soil stabilization on flat ground, shorelines, steep slopes, multi-layered retaining walls, channel protection and structural reinforcement for heavy duty load support roads and earth retention etc. project.
Attention:
1. When building an embankment on a slope with a natural slope steeper than 1:5, steps should be dug at the base of the embankment. The width of the steps should not be less than 1M.
2. When the road is built or rebuilt in stages and widened, the connection between the old and new roadbed fill slopes should be opened.
3. When digging steps, the width of high-grade highway steps is generally 2M. Geocells are laid on the horizontal surface of each step, and the facade side reinforcement effect of the geocells itself is used to better solve the problem of uneven settlement.
