Geosynthetic Clay Liners, manufactured by Shandong Tianren New Materials Co., Ltd., are high-performance needle-punched environmental reinforced composites. These liners are designed to provide a reliable hydraulic barrier for various applications.
Each liner consists of two durable geotextile outer layers and a uniform core of natural sodium bentonite clay. The non-woven geotextile fibers are needle-punched through the layer of bentonite and incorporated into the other geotextile, which can be either woven or non-woven.
When hydrated under a confining load, the bentonite clay swells to form a low permeability clay layer. This layer offers the equivalent hydraulic protection of several feet of compacted clay, ensuring effective containment and preventing the migration of liquids or gases.
