During transportation, handle the geomembrane with utmost care. Avoid dragging or pulling forcefully, and ensure it is kept away from sharp objects that could puncture it.
1. Begin installation from the bottom to the top. Do not pull the material too tight; allow for at least 1.50% of flexibility to accommodate local subsidence. Given the project’s specifics, the slope should be laid from top to bottom.
2. Ensure that the longitudinal joints between two sections are not aligned horizontally. The joints should be staggered by more than 1 meter to enhance stability.
3. Vertical joints should be initiated from the dam's base. Curved sections should begin 1.50 meters above the curved foot and should be laid flat.
4. Prioritize laying the material at the back slope’s bottom first.
5. When laying on slopes, the direction of the film should be parallel to the primary slope line to ensure optimal stability and performance.
