Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL)
The Geosynthetic Clay Liners (GCL) offered by Shandong Tianren New Materials Co., Ltd. are a reliable solution for various construction projects. These liners consist of a layer of bentonite clay encapsulated by woven and nonwoven geotextiles on either side. The three layers are then reinforced and secured through needle punching and thermal locking, resulting in enhanced strength and performance.
Our geosynthetic clay liners (GCL) are designed with two geotextiles needle punched together, with a layer of sodium bentonite clay sandwiched between them. These liners have a constant and very low permeability, making them highly effective in preventing water leakage. Additionally, they possess unique self-sealing properties at overlaps, the ability to seal around penetrations, and the capability to self-heal punctures.
One of our notable products is the Bentonite Clay Liner, which is a shear strength transferring geosynthetic clay liner. It features a high-quality sodium bentonite powder enclosed between an upper and bottom layer of geotextile. The Bentonite Clay Liner undergoes continuous needle punching across all components and is then subjected to regulated heat treatment to thermally lock the fibers in place, ensuring exceptional long-term shear strength.
