During transportation, take utmost care to avoid dragging or pulling the geomembrane. Ensure it does not come into contact with sharp objects to prevent punctures.
1. Begin installation from the bottom and work your way up. Do not stretch the geomembrane too tightly; leave at least 1.50% slack to accommodate local subsidence. Depending on the actual project requirements, lay the slope from top to bottom.
2. Ensure that the longitudinal joints between two sections are not aligned horizontally. They should be staggered by more than 1 meter.
3. Vertical joints should originate from the base of the dam. For curved sections, joints should be positioned at least 1.50 meters above the curve and should lie flat.
4. Begin with the back slope bottom first.
5. When laying the slope, ensure that the direction of the film is parallel to the line of maximum slope for optimal coverage and performance.
