For tunnel applications, we also incorporate ECB (ethylene acetate vinyl modified asphalt blend geomembrane). Our versatile 1-8m Customized Waterproof Membrane, ASTM GM13 HDPE LDPE LLDPE Geomembrane is engineered for a wide array of critical environments. For extensive horizontal and vertical anti-seepage applications, our geomembrane is perfect for reservoirs, canals, and dams. It is also highly effective for seawater and freshwater containment as well as fish farm seepage prevention.
During transportation, ensure that the geomembrane is not dragged or subjected to hard pulls, and avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent punctures.
1. Begin installation from the bottom upwards. Do not stretch the membrane too tight; allow for at least 1.50% slack to accommodate local subsidence. For practical project considerations, lay the membrane from the top of the slope to the bottom.
2. Ensure that the longitudinal seams between adjacent membranes do not align horizontally; stagger them by over 1 meter.
3. Vertical seams should originate from the dam feet. For curved surfaces, place the joints at least 1.50 meters above the curve, ensuring they remain in a flat plane.
4. Start by securing the bottom of the back slope first.
5. When laying the slope, align the membrane's direction parallel to the baseline of the maximum slope.
