Important Considerations:
For embankment construction on slopes steeper than 1:5, create steps at the base of the embankment. Each step should be at least 1 meter wide to ensure stability.
During phased road construction or expansion, ensure seamless integration of the old and new roadbed fill slopes by carefully connecting them.
For high-grade highways, steps should typically be 2 meters wide. Geocells should be laid on each step's horizontal surface to leverage their facade side reinforcement, addressing uneven settlement effectively.
