During transportation of the geomembrane, it is crucial to handle with care. Avoid dragging, excessive pulling, or contact with sharp objects to prevent damage.
1. Begin installation from the bottom to the top, ensuring not to pull the membrane too tightly. Allow for at least 1.50% slack to accommodate local subsidence. Based on the project specifics, lay the membrane from the top downwards on slopes.
2. Ensure that the longitudinal joints between two sections are staggered by more than 1 meter, rather than aligned horizontally.
3. Position vertical joints starting from the dam base, ensuring they are at least 1.50 meters above curved surfaces. They should be laid out on a flat plane.
4. First, cover the back slope and then proceed to the bottom.
5. When laying out the membrane on slopes, ensure the direction of unrolling is parallel to the primary slope line.
