Cement blanket are made of dry concrete mixture, woven fabric and polyester non-woven fabric. They are formed into a blanket-shaped waterproof material by fixing dry concrete particles between non-woven fabric and plastic woven fabric through needle punching. After absorbing water, the dry concrete solidifies into an integrated slope protection material within the limited space of the upper and lower non-woven fabrics.

Cement blanket have excellent chemical resistance, and can withstand wind and rain erosion, scouring, and ultraviolet radiation without degradation. They are used in construction, canals, aquaculture fish ponds, rivers, etc.

Product Parameters

Cement blanket composites should have compressive strength. Before use, they are in a blanket shape, soft and can be cut. After laying and construction, water is added, and after 24 hours of hydration and hardening, the requirements are met.

Installation Instructions

1. On-site usage environmental conditions:  The ambient temperature should be above 3°C.
 
2. Main construction steps of cement blankets:  Flattening, cutting, laying, and hydration.
 
3. On-site preparation:
- Clean the construction site. The slope surface must be free of loose soil and cavities.
- Compact water-damaged areas, and remove debris and gravel from the slope.
- For areas with cracks or looseness, take necessary repair and stabilization measures.
- The material can be laid vertically or horizontally.
 
4. Laying sequence:
 
- Lay the cement blanket from top to bottom, ensuring the laying width fully covers the slope.
- Flattening and compaction: After laying, compact the cement blanket to ensure no cavities exist between it and the slope.

5.Overlap treatment:
 
When laying multiple cement blankets, ensure proper overlap treatment:
 
- Implement lap joint connection during construction, with the overlap dimension not less than 10 cm.

- Use U-shaped nails to fasten the overlapping areas.

6. Hardening and curing:
 
Watering for solidification:
 
- After laying the cement blanket, inspect and accept the entire setup immediately, then start watering for solidification.

- Watering amount: 9 kg per square meter (calculated based on 10 mm thickness), ensuring thorough saturation.

- Watering method: Spray evenly from the edge to the center at a flow rate of 400 ml/min until the cement blanket darkens in color. Do not use high-pressure water columns!

- Post-watering precautions: Forbid stepping on the blanket. The blanket will initially take shape within 2 hours after watering, and its strength will reach 80% after 24 hours.

- Curing duration: Watering and maintenance shall not be less than 2 days.

7. During curing period:
 
During the solidification of cement blankets, measures must be taken to prevent external force impact or human damage, ensuring the blankets can harden smoothly.
