Functions: Filtration, reinforcement, drainage, separation, protection, and stabilization.
(1) Reinforce backfill in retaining walls and anchor retaining wall panels. Ideal for constructing wraparound retaining walls and abutments.
(2) Strengthen flexible pavements, repair road cracks, and prevent reflective cracks in pavements.
(3) Enhance stability of gravel slopes and reinforced soil to prevent erosion and freezing damage in low temperatures.
(4) Serve as an isolation layer between road ballast and roadbed, or between road surface and soft foundation.
(5) Act as an isolation layer between artificial earth filling, rockfill, or material fields and foundations. Also useful for isolation between different frozen soil layers, backfiltration, and reinforcement.
(6) Function as a filter layer on the initial upstream surface of ash or tailings dams, and in drainage systems within retaining wall backfill soil.
(7) Provide filtration around drainage dark pipes or gravel drainage dark ditches.
