1. Begin installation from the bottom to the top, ensuring not to pull the geomembrane too tightly. Allow for at least 1.50% excess material to accommodate any potential local subsidence. Depending on the specific project conditions, lay the membrane on slopes from the top downward.
2. Ensure that the longitudinal joints between two membrane sheets are not aligned in a straight horizontal line. These joints should be staggered by more than 1 meter.
3. Vertical joints must start from the base of the dam, with curved sections positioned at least 1.50 meters above the base to remain on a flat plane.
